World Cup 2023, South Africa vs Sri Lanka: New Delhi Weather and Pitch Report

South Africa will kickstart their ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign with a match against Sri Lanka. This will be the fourth match of the Cricket World Cup and is scheduled to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. South Africa enter the competition with a lot of confidence. They beat Australia in their last home series after being 2-0 down in a 5-match series. On the other hand, Sri Lanka’s journey to this World Cup follows their appearance in the Asia Cup final and quite a lackluster performance in the warm-up matches. Notably, South Africa boasts a favourable track record against Sri Lanka over the past four years, winning seven out of nine encounters.
