India vs England LIVE Updates: India have won the toss and will be batting first in the warm-up game, however, the start of the match in Guwahati has been delayed by rain.
It’s a warm-up match that doesn’t have an ODI status so both teams are free to use as many players they wish.

India vs England Preview: India face England in a crucial warm-up match on Saturday in Guwahati ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Men in Blue are also scheduled to play against the Netherlands in the second and final warm-up game on 3 October. The Men in Blue will be looking to use these games to give final touches to their team combinations.
Players like Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul who are returning after long injury layoffs could be given priority during these warm-up matches besides Ishan Kishan and Ravichandran Ashwin. There’s still confusion about whether Kishan will be part of the playing XI or not and if he does get in, it has to be in place of Iyer as Rahul is the designated wicket-keeper. Ashwin came into the squad two days back after Axar Patel was ruled out due to quadriceps strain.
India will look to get Ashwin ODI ready as it is a format he hasn’t played a lot since last year even if he featured in two ODIs against Australia recently.
