India vs Australia 3rd ODI Preview: After winning the three-match ODI series with a game to go, India will aim for a series sweep on Wednesday as they take on the Aussies in Rajkot. India have never achieved a series weep over Australia in ODIs and such an achievement before the World Cup 2023 will be a big morale boost.

Big guns like Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma who were rested for the first two ODIs are expected to return to the playing XI. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur have been rested.

The third ODI also offers an opportunity for some Indian players to strengthen their case and add to their form ahead of the World Cup. Ravichandran Ashwin is one such player who would be looking to impress again as Axar Patel struggles with a hamstring injury.

Shreyas Iyer allayed the fears over his form with a century in the second ODI and another good score will only provide him with more confidence as he slowly makes a comeback from a back injury.
