She has done it! Nikhat Zareen is into the quarter-finals of the women's 50kg boxing competition with a victory over Korea's Chorong Bak. Asian Games 2023 LIVE: On Tuesday, India earned a surprise gold medal in equestrian dressage event courtesy Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Chheda, Sudipti Hajela and Divyakriti Singh. Equally surprising and rare medals came from the waters in sailing as Neha Thakur and Eabad Ali won silver and bronze respectively.
The same equestrian dressage history-makers will be in action in the individual event on Day 4 in Hangzhou. Also in action will be Manu Bhaker and co in women’s 25m pistol rapid in the qualification and hopefully the final. Skeet shooters will also make their last 50 shots of qualification.
Medal contention also comes in wushu with Rohit Jadhav in men’s gunshu final, Roshibina Devi in women’s 60kg semi-final for bronze medal. In round robin matches, India women’s hockey team face Singapore.
