In the second match, India scored 180/7 in 19.3 overs before rain intervened, reducing the match to a 15-over affair with South Africa being asked to chase down 152. Rinku Singh led the way for the visitors with an unbeaten 68, and captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed a half-century with 56 runs. Gerald Coetzee was the standout with the ball as he picked up a three-wicket haul for South Africa.
Chasing down 152 in 15 overs, South Africa almost cruised to the target in 13.5 overs. Reeze Hendricks led the early charge as he smacked 49 runs off 17 balls. Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar picked up two wickets for India.
