Kolkata bowlers have done very well on a pitch that has very little to offer to the batsmen. DC failed to maximise the powerplay when the ball was hard and then struggled for boundaries throughout the innings. Pant was out there for 36 balls but only scored 39. What an eventful end to the innings. Three wickets from the over and only seven runs for DC. Delhi were looking for a strong finish but the pitch didn't allow any of it. Avesh Khan got run out on the last ball after getting a boundary at deep midwicket where he was dropped by Gill. 127/9 looks not much but this pitch doesn't really have a lot to offer.
