Tiger Woods undergoes knee surgery to repair cartilage, expects to be fit for PGA Tour's inaugural event in Japan

In a brief statement on Twitter, reigning Masters champion Tiger Woods said he had undergone keyhole surgery last week to mend 'minor cartilage damage.' Woods said he was already walking following the surgery and expected to return to practice soon.
